May Photography Images
Per the usual, I have some photos, but no time to post them. I've been busy with so many other 'issues' that life has presented me that I don't have time to get some images up, here. So, you'll have to wait a bit longer for me to get some up. I'll 'fill in the blanks' for the previous months as well.

April Photography
I have added new pictures, below my ramblings. Enjoy! Oh, and I do apologize for the images looking 'crispy' and over-edited, as I took them from my Facebook folder. What does this mean? You have to 'spruce up' your images quite a bit for them to look acceptable on Facebook. So, I suppose I should crank it back down when I post them here, but I'm not going to. I don't edit much anyway, let alone doing it for this blog. All is good. Come join me for some great picture taking!
I haven't even got photographs up for March, and now we're at the end of April as well! I will post some pictures, soon; I promise!
I'll get some photos up, soon! Until then, I want to get back into the 'health and wellness' business, so here are a couple links to pages I will be promoting. This is a part of my Mind-Body Relaxation Protocol, which consists of EFT Tapping In Prescott Arizona, as well as How To Do Meditation In Prescott. Although I'm part of the 'corporate world' now-a-days, I do still have time to teach photography as well as how to rid yourself of chronic pain, anxiety and stress. Visit these pages above, and I hope to talk with you soon. Give me a call at my phone number listed below.
Okay, so we managed to sneak out to Goldwater Lake and have some fun with the kayaks. What a blast, especially as we only live 5 minutes from the lake. Throw 'm in the back of the truck and go! It was warm, overcast and a bit windy, but still very nice. Didn't get to see any Bald Eagles this trip, but we know they are out there. Enjoy the images and have a great day!

March Photography In Prescott
Although I'm not doing a very good job of consolidating my pictures, here, on a monthly basis, I do add a few from time to time. The best place to find new pictures, from me, is on Facebook. Please feel free to visit my page, here: Photography Guide In Prescott, as I update that page with new pictures on a much more regular basis.
If you would enjoy attending a class with me in regards to how to take high-quality outdoor images, contact me. My information is listed here. Now, on to some pictures!

February Photos
I've been extremely busy, so I have not had time to post any content or pictures. Listed below is a mixture of different photos I've posted on Facebook during the last month. I try and post at least a picture or two on my page each day. If you would like to view them, visit here, Photography Guide In Prescott Arizona.
One thing I would like you to keep in mind while reviewing these pictures, is that I'm not big on post-processing; meaning, I don't do a lot of editing of the pictures. If I spent over a minute on a picture it's to much! Why? Because I'm not here to edit the heck out of pictures; I'm here to teach you how to take the great photographs...and that's it. I'm here to assist you with angles and lighting. If you want to learn how to use LightRoom or PhotoShop, you'll need to go somewhere else.
So, with that in mind, please take a look at the pictures below, and look at them with a discerning eye. Meaning, visualize yourself in my shoes, as best you can, in each shot below, and see how you may line up the target differently. A different angle, different lighting, etc., etc. But, please DO NOT look at it with a 'post-processing eye,' meaning, you can always add sharpness and color and all kinds of stuff later, on your own time. Get it? Good!
Understand that I'm not opposed or against any post-processing. It's just that it's not what I do here and now, and it's not what I teach. We each have only a set amount of time we can dedicate to photography and such, and I spend my time on angles and lighting out in the field, not on the computer editing pictures. Hey, if that's your thing, great! Now, on to some pictures.
If you are interested in my one day seminar in regards to how to take better photographs, a full day in a very target rich environment, then take a look at this page where I explain my rates and what we will be doing. Visit here, Photography Guide Description and Rates.
What do you think? Quite a variety. Once again, please look at this as if you were in my shoes, shooting these at the location. There's all kinds of ways to 'spruce' these pictures up, a lot more than I have done. But once again though, this isn't what I'm doing and not what I'm here for. Please feel free to share your comments in the section, below.
Until next time, cheers!

January 2019
I've been really busy, yet I've needed to get a new blog post up, so here it is. I don't know what to 'title' it, so I'm just going with January 2019. I'm going to just post some pictures here, random pictures, of what I have been posting on my Facebook page, Photography Guide In Prescott. It's where I update and add pictures, daily. Why? Because it is just a lot easier than uploading images, here. So, without further ado...
Okay, so this may be the way to go when it comes to posting on this blog. As opposed to specific blog posts being about a specific topic, just lump several pictures together and post them. And then save 'hot topic' posts for individual posts and writings. Remember, this blog post isn't supposed to be about pretty pictures. It's supposed to be about advertising and promoting my business as a photography guide in Prescott Arizona!
Well, I will get to promoting it. But for right now, I'm busy around the house. :-)

Photography Videos 2018
As it snowed today, I would like to share with you a couple photography videos in Prescott Arizona I took with my iPhone 6s Plus. Not the greatest, as I'm not a videographer, but better than nothing!
These are all taken around our new house, our log cabin in the woods. The roads were to slick to go anywhere, (we didn't make it downtown to the boot drop,) so we just stayed home. It wasn't that we received that much snow, but that it was really slick on the roads. After reading about all the accidents in the local paper and on Facebook, I'm glad we stayed home!
Update: 1/5/19 - The photography videos in Prescott Arizona were taken of our log cabin and down the front street. Just testing out my videography skills!
After posting the below photography videos, I noticed they are very small. If you want to actually be able to SEE what's going on in the videos, click on the 'full screen' mode of the video.

Yellowstone Pictures
This blog post will consist of Yellowstone pictures from our trip there in the summer of 2017. That was the first visit I have made to Yellowstone National Park, and it was great! I think we were there for about four days, and was not nearly long enough to even get close to seeing all there is to see.
I'm not joking when I say that I could spend years in that park taking pictures. My love for outdoor and nature photography knows no bounds, especially when it is combined with such beauty. I will add more Yellowstone pictures when I have time, as for now, this blog is not my priority.
I'm super busy, so here are just two images on our way to Yellowstone. These pictures were taken out the window of the plane, on our way from Las Vegas to Idaho Falls. Then we drove the rest of the way to the south entrance to the park. I will get more Yellowstone pictures posted when I have time.
I have to admit that although the two pictures above aren't spectacular, they are pretty darned good for being shot out of an airplane, through a murky window, with an iPhone. I will post more Yellowstone pictures soon, I promise!

Prescott Christmas Parade
'They' say that equipment or your camera doesn't matter. It's all about the photographer. Chuckles. It certainly does matter...Your equipment, that is. We were down at the Prescott Christmas Parade, freezing our butts off, but it was fun. I only took a couple images as it was to cold to take my hands out of my pockets. The photos below were taken with my iPhone.
Zoom on these mobile devices is very poor as they don't have the extending and retractable lens. Thus, the camera DOES matter, as if I would have have the Canon I could have got some good pictures. Oh well. Thus, figure stuff out for yourself, don't just take peoples word for it. Most are full of shit, myself included! :-) I won't go into a rant here in regards to stupid people and stupid comments.
With that said, I'm unconcerned with getting 'good' pictures at the initial Yavapai County Courthouse lighting, as we will be down at the Prescott Courthouse many times before the holiday season is over with. As to the Prescott Christmas Parade, I didn't see a lot of photo-worthy opportunities, but that's just me. As I'm sure you can tell from the rest of my blog posts and photographs, I'm more of a nature/outdoor photographer.
So, here are just a couple pictures I could 'doctor up' well enough to post. I will certainly get more 'good' photos in the near future, when we visit the Yavapai County Courthouse with less people around. It's just to busy down there on a weekend.
P.S. - The U.S. flag on the top of the Yavapai County Courthouse was at half mast for the passing away of former President Bush.

Leaf Photography And Leaf Photos
As you can see below, leaf photography in Prescott Arizona is a favorite subject of mine. Mostly because we have such a variety of trees here, it's easy to find great leaf photos in Prescott. As I have mention several times in several of the blog posts here, I don't have much time to post a lot of content or pictures. Thus, for right now, this blog topic will be a little skimpy on words and images.
So, let's get to some pictures! (Tip: Click on the images below for full size and clarity.)
The above leaf photos in Prescott Arizona was taken just next to our cabin in the woods. As you can see, I don't have to go far for great color! Leaf photography in Prescott is almost easy with this much color and differentiation. Obviously this image was taken in the fall, thus the striking colors. But still, year 'round, there a ton of leaves to photograph.
The above is part of the same group of leaves. As you can see, I don't enhance the pictures very much. A bit of sharpness and a couple other adjustments, very quickly, and the picture is posted. Why? Because I'm not focused on 'end result' images. That's not what I do. I'm more interested in angles and natural lighting. If you are a photographer who wants to post your pictures or sell them, then obviously you need to know all the settings on your camera, as well as post processing, such as Lightroom and PhotoShop. But again, not my interest here. Leaf photos in Prescott and leaf photography in Prescott can certainly benefit from all these additions, but again, I'm not concerned with that aspect of photography. Strange? Yeah, I know.
Yet another different angle of the same leaves. This is what I teach in my photography guide in Prescott Arizona seminar. First, locating or finding subjects, as most people are walking WAY to fast, then getting the right angle and lighting. I spend hours with you, in person, doing just this. It is actually a lot of fun! Especially when it comes to leaf photography and leaf photos.
And last but certainly not least, the photo above. Beautiful picture, don't you think? And yes, I left the 'limb shadow' on the main leaf on purpose. Why? I don't know. Perhaps more natural. Again, I'm not trying to sell this picture or anything like that. Just HAVING FUN, which we should ALL be doing! I think most photographers do have a lot of fun, yet, when it becomes a business, the pressure is on to create magical images, which can be tough to do.
What is also fun, and easy, with leaf photos in Prescott as well as leaf photography in Prescott Arizona, is that they are, for the most part, stationary. Unless the breeze or wind is blowing, of course. Now the lighting can certainly change if you are using direct, nature sun, but you still have plenty of time to get that great shot. So, SLOW DOWN! HAVE SOME FUN! TAKE YOUR TIME! This isn't a race, by any means. Okay, I need to get back to work, doing what I do, so have some fun with critiquing the pictures above. There are so many ways to get different angles, lighting, etc. I'm certainly not perfect.
Until next time,
